I Think I Have Throat Cancer What Should I Do

Love in the Time of

social networks, the Internet, the web (world wide web), help us be better informed, but the question is do you also better communicated? Further, do the internet helps me to love my fellow man? According to the Mexican Internet Association 3 in 10 households have a computer at his home in the 110 million people who are in Mexico, according to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). The places that have greater access to the web in all over Mexico are the Benito Juárez (Mexico City) and the Municipality of San Pedro Garza García (Nuevo León). Are places of communication? Places love is alive?
Pope Benedict XVI's encyclical "God is love" says: "We believe the love of God and the Christian can express the fundamental decision of his life. Not being Christian is an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives a new horizon to life and thus a decisive direction (...) Christian Faith placing love at the center, has taken what was the core of the faith of Israel, while giving new depth and breadth. Indeed, the pious Jew prayed daily the words of the Book of Deuteronomy that, as you know, understand the core of his existence: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one. Love the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all forces "(6:4-5). Jesus, making a single precept, has joined the commandment to love God with love of neighbor (...) And since it is God who first loved us (cf. 1 Jn 4.10), now love is no longer a mere "command", but the response to the gift of love, which comes to us "(God is Love, 1).
An invitation during this Holy Week as a family to communicate better through dialogue, to love better with words and deeds. Can we love in the time of the web? Send us an e-mail or call: Tel (868) 813-5511 mensajero@diocesisdematamoros.org
