The importance of reading to children
How often read stories or stories with your children ...? "Every day ?.... "Once a week? ... Once a month? ... Have you ever? Children's reading is very important for the development of a child. Reading is of vital importance as it plays a key role in emotional, cognitive and social development. In fact, reading aloud children's story is one of the most important activities that we, as parents, grandparents or teachers, can do for our children.
If you read often to your baby or your child, you should feel proud as a mother or father, and you understand the benefits that reading will have on their intellectual and personal development. If you have not read books with your child, you should convince you about how positive it is reading and you should start as soon as possible.
most important thing is to not post or look for excuses as any of us can read stories to our children. We do not have to be experts, scientists, or teachers, just have to want to live this experience so special to our children and have the sensitivity to enjoy a special moment. An act as simple as reading stories, generate an important link with our children that we should not miss.
A good way to promote reading is that children have their own reading books. But the greatest gift we can give our children is ourselves - our time, in our enthusiasm, our thoughts and our acts of love and affection. Through reading, we can pass on to our children these feelings and make you feel very loved and special.
addition, reading aloud has major benefits for our children, including most notably the fact that it creates the habit of reading, which enhances communication, the ability to learn and especially strengthen the link between parents and children, increasing children's self-esteem.

IV Chrism Mass at the Cathedral of Matamoros
The Holy Wednesday (April 20) will bring together more than 100 priests who make up the chancel Diocese to celebrate together with Bishop Faustino Armendáriz the Chrism Mass .
At exactly 11:30 am at the Cathedral of Matamoros, priests from the 8 municipalities that make up the Diocese (Camargo, Diaz Ordaz, Reynosa, Rio Bravo, Matamoros, Valle Hermoso, San Fernando, Villa de Mendez) , will be gathered to pray for the families, for peace and to consecrate the oils to be used throughout the year at baptisms, confirmations, ordinations and anointing of the sick.
also stands out this day because this Chrism Mass will be renewing our priestly promises, that is, a renewed commitment to love and serve Christ in the Church of selfless, committed and in a constant spirit of service, in addition to obedience to the laws of God and the Church.
